Synopsis: The reader watches as Mary Jane Styles goes through many changes; from age 15 into her 30's. Along the way plenty of sex, drugs and rock and roll ensue. It's not for the faint of heart. She starts out a good girl, has a tryst with a married couple who forever change her way of thinking, with the affair eclipsing her ability to move forward. She neets a nice guy at college, moves back home with him, and has two children. The problem? The children are not his. She bounces around from man to man, into the frightening world of addiction, and now has two babies who desperately need her. She finally finds salvation in the arms of another man --- ends Part I Part II - only to find that he is the worst of them all, he is the devil in disguise. She must fight for not only her life, but her children as well, to keep them safe, to keep them from falling into the path of The Destroyer. In the vein of William Burroughs, and lately, all of the bios of rock stars, comes the heart of this book. I've lived this tale. You won't be able to put it down and hopefully, it will help people who feel despaired by life, drug use and depression, all the while keeping a wicked sense of humor about them. It takes time and work. And don't short change yourself - today's methodone's, ie, suboxone, subutex, is no different than taking a drug everyday, though I do agree, the subs are better than the methadone - and all are better than the alternative. But try to live a life without doctors unless you have a real disease. And drug addiction is not a disease. We tell ourselves that and let others tell us that so that we can remain sick. Get better. Please... Work on your talents and your drive to shove into the face of every motherfucker who ever put you down that you're better than that.
